We believe Growing People, Get with People

Life groups are a place to grow in your relationship to God while you connect with others.

Life Groups have fun, encourage each other, and help each other follow Jesus.

Life Groups are the best environment for continued life-change.

Life Groups are where you begin to feel like family and we do life together!

Life Group Basics

What is a Life Group?

In a Life Group, eight to twelve adults in the same stage of life meet regularly to pursue spiritual growth and healthy relationships.

When and where do groups meet?

Groups meet on various days of the week. Groups normally meet in one of the group member’s homes.

How often do Life Groups meet?

Most groups normally meet weekly. Some groups meet for three weeks out of the month and either take off the fourth week or do a social activity together. Most groups take a break over the summer– June-August.

How long does a Life Group last?

Life Groups initially commit to meet for eight weeks as a starter group. After those first eight weeks, the group members decide if they want to continue meeting together for an additional 10 week trimester. Most groups will continue to meet 3 trimesters of 10 weeks each year.

How long does each group meeting last?

Each Life Group picks the length of time they will meet. However, most groups meet for an hour and a half to two hours.

What goes on at a group meeting?

Though each group differs, many groups have a social time at the beginning, then they transition to a time where they watch a video message, discuss the book or Bible passage they are studying and pray for each other.

What does it mean when a group “multiplies?”

During the coarse of the group, the group leader will train an apprentice to be the next leader of the group. When ready, the leader will take a couple people with the to start a new group. Then they will both add more members to their respective new groups, therefore allowing others to join groups.

What do they study?

While all groups begin with the same study in the Fall, each group will choose their other topics and curriculum with the help of the Group Director.

Is childcare provided for each group meeting?

Childcare is not provided, except on Wednesday nights. All other groups brainstorm and determine what will work best. Some group members take turns watching the children, or they pitch in for the cost of a babysitter.

Life Group Covenant:

Once groups members commit to be in a group we agree to this covenant here,
